Supervision and Consultation

As part of our commitment to supporting the professional and personal development of allied health professionals, we offer identity affirming supervision and consultation with a focus on decolonising mental health to counsellors, psychotherapists and social workers.

Supervision is essential to a clinician finding and accessing joy in the work, navigating the impacts of working within oppressive and racist systems and understanding how our own lived experience is essential to being an authentic clinician.

Our qualified supervisors and EMDR consultants are dedicated to providing you a space in which you can explore insight, your needs and invest in your and your participants' future.

Training

We have noticed a marked increase in people experiencing mental health problems and crises during the past 3 years. We have also witnessed the parallel growth in anxiety from loved ones who often feel ill-equipped to support the person experiencing these issues. We at TIF, want to change that. Our goal is to provide people with the skills to help youth and adult community members to address their mental health problems and intervene before they become mental health crises. Having mental health first aid skills means that you can assist someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis and make a real difference to your community.
