Service Description
A counsellor will use a range of therapies to support you through your concerns and circumstances, to gain perspective, develop coping strategies and habits, assess maladaptive thinking patterns, explore emotions and find new ways of perceiving situations in order to help people work towards their set goals. We use a person centered approach to make sure that you feel heard, seen, considered and like you have someone in your corner supporting you on your journey. Counsellors use therapeutic practices combined with research to help people develop a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, behaviours and the interaction of all three. Upon request and availability, we also provide outreach services to metro Melbourne. Prior to booking an outreach session, you will need to book a Free 30min consultation with the clinician to assess for outreach suitability. You can find this on our Prices & Bookings page. 50% of session fee refunded if cancelled 24 hours prior to appointment. No refund if cancelled within 24 hours of appointment
