Sam predominantly works on the unceded lands of the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation.

Sam (he/him) is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Family Therapist and Supervisor. Sam is
passionate about empowering people to be their favourite selves as they walk alongside and support people, families, systems and communities to navigate the complexities of life.
Sam has experience supervising folk in education, out of home care, private practice, family services
and mental health. He believes in the importance of an affirming, collaborative and integrated
supervisory relationship that upholds a systemic and intersectional lens acknowledging the ongoing
impacts of colonisation and inequality.
Taking a person-centred approach, Sam aims to foster a safe, supportive and empowering
environment where supervisees can reflect on their own practice. He endeavours to focus on
exploring what is most important to you in your work so you can grow and refine your clinical skills.
As a supervisor, Sam is dedicated to supporting people to foster a long and fulfilling career. In
supervision he aims to proactively address signs of burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious
trauma, ensuring supervisees maintain their own well-being and continue to thrive in their
professional journey.
Sam is committed to his own professional development to ensure he remains up to date in his own
clinical practice, so supervisees continue to get the most from supervision. Outside of work, Sam
enjoys reading, photography, pickleball and spending time connecting with people and nature.
