Ruwan - who usually goes by Roo, is currently pursuing his Masters in Social Work at the Australian College of Applied Professions (ACAP). He is building upon his bachelors of Psychology which he completed in 2020 to be able to work in the mental health sector to support people to find and maintain mental and emotional wellbeing.

Roo manages TIF and Manaya Pride Program [MPP]'s social media accounts and loves putting together posts, videos and social media assets that are informative and good to look at!

 

Roo has a deep-rooted passion for people's mental health and well-being which is why he is working towards being a Mental Health Social Worker. He believes in the power of diversity and inclusivity and is excited to learn how to provide meaningful support to his community through his placement at The Iceberg Foundation.

 

When he is not focused on his studies or working, you would find him working on his art or hitting the track in the car that he races with his brother and cousin!
