Manaya Pride Program

Manaya is Sanskrit for Celebration and To Celebrate. We believe in witnessing, acknowledging, giving recognition to, supporting and celebrating the lived/living experiences of LGBTIQAP+ forcibly displaced peoples living on the unceded lands of First Nation's People in so called Australia including refugees and asylum seekers.  We acknowledge the incredible barriers that the LGBTIQAP+ forcibly displaced communities experience to accessing support and we are passionate about addressing these barriers where we can. We travel alongside the LGBTIQAP+ forcibly displaced communities to support their mental health and wellbeing through therapeutic support and social inclusion programs

The services we offer:

The Iceberg Foundation acknowledges the traditional custodians of the stolen land and waters on which we work, learn, live and operate. We pay our deepest respects to elders past, and present and their histories, lived experiences and the continuity of their peoples for the past 65,000 years on this unceded land.

We acknowledge the individual and collective expertise of those with a living or lived experience of mental health issues. We recognise their vital contribution at all levels and value the courage of those who share this unique perspective for the purpose of learning and growing together to achieve better outcomes for all.
