Ben works on the unceded lands of the Woiwurrugn Wurrundjeri and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation.

He offers services in person at our Footscray Location, online via zoom and offers outreach appointments within 10 kms of Footscray

​

Ben works on Tuesdays 12-8pm and Thursdays 10-6pm by appointment only

Ben is an experienced and engaging registered psychologist with many years of experience. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Crisis Intervention and Management Australia (CIMA). Ben has worked with a range of people across the lifespan and enjoys working with adults, adolescents and children. He views counselling as a partnership where two or more people can come together and combine their unique skillsets to solve specific issues and improve well-being to ensure the best quality future for you.

Ben is dedicated to helping you to achieve your best possible outcomes. He engages with you by bringing his knowledge of the discipline and synthesizing it with the unique skills and strengths of you to create the best plan of action to suit your specific needs. He has been described as having a warm and friendly demeanour as well as being approachable and easy to talk to.

​

Ben utilises a person-centred approach drawing on psychological theories such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). He also brings his unique personal experiences as well as his training in biotechnology to form an understanding of the ways in which the mind and body interact.

  • Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology)

  • Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)

  • Master of Professional Psychology

  • Member of APS, AHPRA & CIMA

Ben's Fees

  • $100 for 50 minute sessions for people with a valid Healthcare Card

  • $170 for 50 minute sessions until June 2024

  • From June 2024, Sessions will cost $205 and you can access a medicare rebate of $93.35 for 10 sessions. The out of pocket cost for the 10 rebated sessions will be $111.65.

  • After the 10 rebated sessions, the full cost of $205 will apply.
